Telegraph readers call me ‘a moron’

• Free movement of people – both ways

Today I posted pro-EU arguments under a Daily Telegraph article about the number of Romanians and Bulgarians coming to the UK.  Clearly, my comments were unwelcome by DT readers.  They called me ‘a moron’, an ‘utter idiot’ and told me ‘to get medical help.’

So much for elevated debate.

This was my comment:

All UK citizens are entitled to work, study, live or retire  in any other European Economic Area county, with rights to claim benefits.   There are many British people claiming benefits across Europe.  It works both ways.  Europe is open to us; we are open to Europe. That’s the huge advantage of belonging to the European Union.  Watch this video to find out more: Moving within Europe
