Only public demand can drive rejoining the EU
Millions now recognise that Brexit has failed. But recognising failure is not enough.
While the Brexit dream has soured, Nigel Farage’s Reform Party is gaining ground, capitalising on public frustration and dominating media space.
Reform is filling the vacuum because those of us who believe Britain’s future lies back inside the EU are not working together. We are scattered, uncoordinated, and lacking a proper, organised campaign.
And that is a huge problem.
Poll after poll shows that anti-Brexit sentiment and support for rejoining the EU now consistently enjoy bigger public backing than Reform. But public opinion alone doesn’t shift political reality – unless it’s mobilised.
Politicians rarely change course unless they feel the public pushing hard behind them. They will not rethink Brexit on their own. Unless and until the public demands it – clearly, loudly, and persistently – they will continue to hesitate.
If we fail to step up, we risk leaving the stage entirely to Reform. Their loud, provocative, populist message will continue to dominate headlines while the majority who want to repair Britain’s relationship with Europe remain invisible. That would be a terrible mistake.
We need to turn today’s quiet frustration into tomorrow’s national movement.
That’s why we must move from frustration to action – with a strategy that works:
➔ First, build overwhelming, visible support across the country for closer ties with Europe – not just online, but in communities, the media, workplaces, and the streets. It’s about changing the conversation – in town halls, newsrooms, unions, schools, and every public forum.
➔ Second, channel that into coordinated, professional pressure on all political leaders, making it clear that this is not a fringe view – it is the will of the people. This means sustained, united messaging, backed by facts, stories, and personal testimonies that show how deeply this issue matters across the country.
This is not about one political party or one leader. It’s about reclaiming Britain’s future as a European nation and giving voice to the millions who feel betrayed by the broken promises of Brexit.
It’s not more talk we need. It’s organised action – and fast.
Building a public movement won’t be easy. It will take vision, leadership, patience – and money. But it’s achievable. It’s been done before in history – and it can be done again.
This is bigger than party politics – it’s about the direction of the country for generations to come.
If you believe Britain deserves better, now is the time to act. We can change our future. But only if we work together.
Our silence will leave the stage to Reform. And that is not a risk we can afford to take.
